2007-2008 PROGRAM SCHEDULE

Location: Just north of the intersection of Sheridan and Hampden.  From that intersection, drive north on Sheridan about four blocks to Dartmouth. Turn right at the stop light. The library is about a block east of Sheridan, on your left. There is plenty of parking; our meeting room is just inside the main entrance. Some meetings will be followed by a potluck lunch; for others, we’ll adjourn to a nearby restaurant or bring individual brown bag lunches (BBL).

 Sheila Clark, head librarian at the Arapahoe Library, will speak about her experiences working with prisoners at the Arapahoe County Detention Center.

 Sally Stich is a freelancer whose work has appeared in TIME, Parade, Modern Maturity, and Parents, among many others. She is currently a contributing editor for Woman's Day.

Holiday potluck and book exchange. Please bring a book--used or new, hardback or paperback-- that you really like, for an exchange.

11:15 am Joanne Greenberg, a world renowned author of thirteen acclaimed novels and four collections of short fiction, will speak about her newest book, Appearances. Joanne is most known for I Never Promised You a Rose Garden and In This Sign, which was made into the TV movie, Love Is Never Silent.
